Dr Shubhro Sen is Managing Director, driving SES's business development initiatives in India. He is based in New Delhi and travels frequently between India and the US.

Dr Shubhro Sen brings a 20 year track record of general management, consulting and entrepreneurial success to SES. A visionary leader and builder of winning organizations, he has co-founded and led multiple US and India based companies to global markets as well as successful exits. Dr Sen has served on the faculties of business schools at UC Berkeley, Santa Clara University and Northeastern University and as a consultant on Indian and global sourcing strategies to major corporations such as Apple Computer, Procter & Gamble, Experian, Citibank, State Street and Nomura amongst others. A globally recognized authority on outsourcing management and creator of the Outsourcing Quotient [ OQ TM], Dr Sen has helped his clients effectively leverage India's vast talent pool and service resources across a a broad range of sectors. In addition, he is a domain expert in financial services, specifically in asset management, investment banking, quantitative research and analysis, credit management and securities trading.

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Dr Sen received a PhD. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley, an M.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana, an M.A from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University and an honor's degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. Dr Sen was featured in a national advertising campaign on successful “Global Indians” in 2003-4; named in the Who's Who in International Business” on multiple occasions; and also recognized as a “Trendsetter CEO” by Cooper's and Lybrand in 1994. He is a keen cricketer, golfer, jogger and trekker and occasionally competes in (mini) triathlons.
