Jim Roussos is Managing Director, based in Hong Kong. He co leads the firm's Financial Services Practice Group.

Mr Roussos has conducted a substantial volume of assignments across the financial services industry throughout Asia and Australia. These engagements have been regional and international, in view of the dynamic nature of the global financial markets. In particular, Mr Roussos is well known for his search work in the insurance sector. He has also conducted searches in the life sciences and industrial arenas, in Hong Kong and China. Majority of Mr Roussos's assignments over the past 22 years have focused on recruiting CEOs/Presidents and more recently board members and other C-level executives into a wide range of companies, from early-stage private to multi billion dollar public firms. He understands effective ways to not only source talent but to be able to “think out of the box” in the execution of these individuals. This is evidenced by his substantial repeat business.

Mr Roussos was formerly with TMP and Ward Howell, where he led the Insurance Practice Group for Asia for both firms. He first came to Hong Kong in 1991, when he joined a premier local firm, which became the local partner for Greater China of Ward Howell International. Mr Roussos began his career in search in Australia in 1985, and established in 1986 Roussos Crowe and later Palmer Holt, a financial services boutique in Asia.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Roussos graduated from the Royal Australian Naval College in 1984 and served as Naval Officer touring the Far East. Mr Roussos holds qualifications in Human Resources from Sydney. He is an avid sailor on weekends.
