Ms Nita Joshi is Director, based in Mumbai.

Ms Joshi has conducted numerous search engagements in the media, entertainment, telecom and consumer goods sectors. Her clients comprise large multinationals, Indian organizations and mid size promoter driven companies. She has successfully put together entire startup teams across all functions for some of the leading broadcasters, radio stations, production houses and music labels. She has also handled senior level assignments in the telecom, fast moving consumer goods, advertising and internet categories. Her wide network with clients and senior management in her area of expertise, her integrity of her approach and the quality of her deliverables is well recognized in the industry.

Prior to aligning with the SES Group, Ms Joshi was a co founder of K&J Search Consultants Pvt. Ltd, together with Ms Kapoor in 1996. A pioneer executive search firm in India, K & J has specialized in the Media, Entertainment and Communications sectors. Ms Joshi has also worked with CTM, a British time share company, where she helped establish their operations in India in 1994. She was also involved in an operational role with Iberia Airways in Mumbai in 1987 and as a copywriter for TAAM, an advertising agency in 1984. Ms Joshi began her career as a simultaneous interpreter (Spanish – English) for the Government of India in 1982.

Born in India, Ms Joshi spent her childhood years in Poland, Canada, India and South America, where she graduated in Spanish from Javeriana University in Bogota, Colombia. She later obtained an honors degree in Spanish from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. She went on to do a one-year management-training program with Mercury Travels.
